QD12-37-B Squareness Of Table Top Face

The unit to be measured is placed onto a granite surface table. A calibrated cylindrical square is used to reference an Indi-Square that in turn is used to measure the squareness of the table top surface to the reference surface.

The Indi-Square is referenced over a range of movement similar to that carried out during the measurement process using the cylindrical square. The rotary table is then maneuvered in front of the referenced Indi-Square and relative measurement is taken at two positions on the face of the table top. The difference between these results gives the squareness error.
