Applications

In situations where the enhanced motion performance of thin film air bearings are advantageous. Table sizes from 500mm to 1800mm diameter with up to 11,500kg load capacity for inspection, test and metrology applications.

Construction

The principle castings are made from high grade established iron. Light duty covers enclose the gear-reduced friction drive, which is only operative during air flotation.

Bearing

The V Series rotary table combines a pre-loaded double row journal bearing with a high load capacity thin film air thrust bearing. The thrust bearing uses a thin layer of air trapped between the underside of the table top and the top of the base assembly.

Clamping

Light duty metal-to-metal system for inspection type applications.

Measuring Systems

High precision angular encoders set on axis with DRO or NC systems.

Motors

Various motor types available.
