A uniquely positioned and calibrated Reference Point System (RPS) on the table top enables any 3D metrology software such as Polyworks or Verisurf to assist in controlling part dimensions by using their location accessed via the simple alignment macro.
The table top is rotated about the axis for each scanning run and re-referenced via the RPS to enable the measuring arm to access any part of the work piece. The software determines the location of the part via the RPS system and aligns measurements together accordingly.
